Do you know of any life changing quotes? You know, a quote that just sticks with you and you think about it often and actually look for an opportunity for application? I have encountered several that have had that type of impact on my life. There’s one in particular that I have been applying for the past 3 or 4 years now. I heard it first in a message from a Pastor who was teaching about getting results. His statement was, “You cannot see the wind but you can see the affects of the wind.” He mentioned that when most people see trees swaying or leaves being blown around they actually think that what they are witnessing is the wind. He would say, “That is not the wind but the results of the wind.”

You know we too are like the wind. There are identifiable results when we enter a room, deal with a client, work with co-workers or get a good or bad report. The results that follow will ultimately be a major factor that will produce positive or negative effects when it comes to relationships, employment, opportunities and outcomes. That same Pastor also said, “If you have a friend who has encountered some misfortune and goes to one house and it burns down and then goes to another house and it too burns down and then he comes to my house to stay…” Well, you guessed right, I’m not letting him in. The result of his occupancy is fire and lose. No thank you. I know this is an extreme and highly unlikely illustration but you get the point. It is like the person that gets a new job but gets fired for the same thing that happened at the last place of his employment. Results and outcomes that follow are a lot more than a case of good and bad luck.
