Your ideas can be like a group of kites flying high in the perfect wind but way too close together. Eventually the strings will all get tied up together making sustained flight almost impossible to achieve. Not to mention the knot from hell with the strings getting all crossed up.You see, your mind has amazing thoughts and ideas that are trying to catch flight. They have various shapes, sizes and attributes that define them. They are waiting for you to take notice and grab ahold of their strings and start running to catch that breeze that will create the lift they need for flight.

I would like to offer this advice before attempting flight:

  1. Take on one idea at a time and just work with it a bit. Write it down and ponder it.
  2. Spread your ideas out so that you can see them all and even recall them when ready. It’s almost like the memory game, except you won’t have to keep turning the cards over to find the match.
  3. Don’t try to fly too many ideas at once! Your ideas have a direction that they want to go and you are still in the process of trying to figure that out. And when the breeze of possibility is at full strength it will be all that you can do to hold on and slowly give more string for higher flight.
  4. Don’t get discouraged if the the idea doesn’t go as far as you thought it should go. Remember design plays a vital a part in everything that is created and not all things are meant to fly high.
  5. Always remember there is nothing wrong with grabbing a new idea often and seeing if it will catch the wind.

Enjoy your yourself when it comes to entertaining ideas. Never lose the joy of flying kites, better still, your ideas.
